Business for Good West Yorkshire
We thoroughly enjoyed supporting TSL Kirklees and partners with the evaluation of the Business for Good West Yorkshire programme. At the start of 2024, we were commissioned to develop a framework to monitor and evaluate the innovative project, explore its impacts for the participants, reflect on these and report in ways that help support project delivery. It was great to be involved from an early stage – we find being able to reflect on and share learning from the start helps embed a culture of reflexive practice which in turn strengthens project outcomes.
The BfG programme’s focus on delivering support for alternative businesses across West Yorkshire, was really exciting for us, not least because we are a West Yorkshire based social enterprise ourselves. It was great to be able to bring our experiences to understand the impacts of a project so clearly aligned with our values. We also learned a lot about the work of other inspiring alternative businesses in our region including the Fox and Goose.
We were delighted to be recommissioned to explore the potential longer term outcomes of the BfWGY programme, the impacts for alternative businesses the programme supports. You can read more about our approach and findings here.
