Business for Good West Yorkshire

Picture
We are delighted to be working with TSL Kirklees and partners on the Business for Good West Yorkshire programme.  At the start of 2024, we were commissioned to develop a framework to monitor and evaluate the project, explore its impacts for the participants, reflect on these and report in ways that help support project delivery. It’s been great to be involved from this early stage so reflections and learning have been embedded throughout to strengthen project outcomes. A year on from our first discussions with partners about their hopes and aspirations for the programme, it's clear that this innovative partnership is working to empower alternative business in West Yorkshire.  Read more about the learning in our blog or the interim learning summary.

At Nifty, we emphasise accessibility, equity and inclusion in all we do, and our values of kindness, empowerment, inclusivity, curiosity and generous learning underpin our work and allow us to truly add value to the projects with which we are involved. The focus on delivering support for alternative businesses across West Yorkshire, is really exciting for us, not least because we are a West Yorkshire based social enterprise ourselves, so it’s great to be able to bring our experiences to evaluate a project so clearly aligned with our values.  This is also an amazing opportunity for us to hear about the work of other inspiring alternative businesses in our region.

If you’d like to know more or hear about how we are using creating methods to engage a diverse range of participants in this evaluation feel free to get in touch on [email protected].

THE PEOPLE WE WORK WITH SAY:

'It was important to us as a delivery partnership focused on supporting social enterprises and co-operatives to work with one of these based in the region for our programme evaluation. Claire and Jen are bringing a considered and independent but very practical and personable approach to the whole evaluation process.  The feedback from those involved with the evaluation so far is really positive and we are really enjoying working with Nifty.'
Helen Orlic, Programme Manager, Business for Good, West Yorkshire.
