Laura Howard
Nifty Intern

Laura has recently finished her degree in Sociology at Leeds Beckett University. Throughout her degree, she focused mainly on the educational disadvantages of young people in secondary schools. Her dissertation project was literature based which examined school policies for inclusion, the experiences of chronically ill young people and the use of technology for those with prolonged absence. Laura is also interested in methods which include stakeholders to be equally involved in the research process. Overall, she is passionate about social justice and understanding the social issues people face. She is currently taking part in an internship with Nifty Sustainability where she will be working on IMAS and co-production.
