Lauryn Richards
Nifty Associate
Lauryn is a recent University of Leeds graduate in Sustainability and Environmental Management, where she completed her dissertation exploring eco-anxiety in environmental students. Since then, she has begun implementing the recommendations of her dissertation as part of the School of Earth and Environment ‘Towards Eco-Hope’ initiative, alongside Jen, Sop and other colleagues. This work hopes to foster a greater sense of hope in the future for environmental students, increasing their resilience and empowering them to make change. Alongside this, Lauryn now works with Nifty on a new project with the Co-Production Collective, exploring how neurodivergence interacts with eco-anxiety in people working in/studying sustainability. Through this project we hope to bring greater awareness to lived experience and change norms for neurodivergent folk in sustainability spaces.
